Video Player is an offline media player designed to play videos stored on your Android device. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

2. Videos and Media Files

Video Player requests access to videos stored on your device only to display, organize, create thumbnails for, and play your local media files.

Your videos, video names, folders, subtitles, and media metadata are processed locally on your device. Video Player does not upload your personal videos to our servers.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The app may store the following information locally on your device to provide its features:

• Playlists, favorites, and hidden-video preferences.
• Playback position and continue-watching information.
• App settings such as theme, language, player controls, and subtitle preferences.
• Cached thumbnails to make video browsing faster.

This information remains on your device unless it is removed through the app, Android settings, or by uninstalling the app.

4. Advertising

Video Player may display advertisements using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, approximate location inferred from IP address, and diagnostic information to provide, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted by law and your device settings.

Google’s use of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy . You can manage advertising preferences through your Android device settings and available Google privacy controls.

5. Permissions

• Photos and videos / media access: Used to find and play videos stored on your device.
• Notifications: Used, where enabled, for media playback controls and playback-related notifications.
• Internet access: Used for advertising and for opening external links requested by you, such as the privacy-policy page.

The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, or personal messages.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal videos or local media information. We do not share your local video library with third parties. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above.

7. Data Security

Video Player is designed to keep your media-library information on your device. While no method of electronic storage is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to minimize data collection and do not operate a server for storing your videos.

8. Children’s Privacy

Video Player is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address the request.

9. Your Choices

You can control your information by:

• Revoking media or notification permissions in Android Settings.
• Clearing the app’s storage or cache in Android Settings.
• Deleting playlists, favorites, hidden-video records, and app settings in the app.
• Uninstalling the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
