This Privacy Policy explains how QR Code Scanner handles information when you use the app.

Information processed by the app

QR codes and barcodes are processed on your device to provide scanning and QR-code generation features. If you choose to save scan history, the scanned content is stored locally on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

Permissions

• Camera: used only to scan QR codes and barcodes.
• Contacts: used only when you choose to create a QR code from a contact.
• Location: used only when you choose location-related QR-code features.
• Vibration: used only for optional scan feedback.

You can manage app permissions in your device settings.

Advertising

The app may display ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interaction information, and diagnostics information to serve, measure, and improve ads. Consent choices are presented where required and can be changed through the app's ad privacy choices entry point when available.

External actions and services

When you choose an action such as opening a link, searching the web, sharing content, connecting to Wi-Fi, sending an email, or using an optional external lookup, the relevant content may be passed to the app, browser, website, or service you select. Those third parties have their own privacy policies.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell your scan history. Local history remains on your device unless you choose to share, export, or send it through an external service. Advertising data is handled by Google Mobile Ads as described above.

Children's privacy

QR Code Scanner is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the app, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
